Lincoln Offering Free Scheduled Maintenance
Lincoln’s U.S. customer program has debuted on June 18 and is scheduled to run through September 7.
The program offers free maintenance for a period of three years or 45,000 miles. It covers oil changes, tire rotations, vehicle inspections, engine belts and hoses. In addition to that, the initiative also includes wear items, such as brake pads and wiper blades, which normally aren’t covered by a vehicle warranty.
"Our commitment is to further grow the Lincoln brand and offer our luxury customers the premium experience they deserve and expect," said Ken Czubay, Ford Motor Company's vice president of U.S. Marketing, Sales and Service. "Our free scheduled maintenance offer marks only the first step in our plans to further upgrade the Lincoln experience."
The Lincoln brand is currently reinventing itself, with the carmaker planing to expand its line-up with seven new or revised vehicles in the next four years. The company wants to offer a fresh design, advanced technology and new powertrains, as it is aiming at competing with Cadillac and Lexus in North America.
Lincoln’s future plans include the introduction of its first C-segment vehicle, new powertrains, including a new V6 engine and fuel-efficient transmissions. The automaker will offer Ford’s downsized Ecoboost engines in all its vehicles, from the Navigator full size CUV to the new C-segment car.
