Les Ateliers Ruby has gotten us used to their periodical limited edition helmets and now its time for three new lids to be revamped by one of the major names in design: Paris-based Ill Studio, well-known for having worked with the likes of Louis Vuitton, Lacoste, Colette, Nike or Christophe Lemaire.
Ill Studio went on and transformed three of Ruby's emblematic helmets into exclusive piece of art: Pavillon, Belvedere and Castel. The unique design evokes the creations of postmodern artists, such as Alessandro Medini or Robert Venturi during the early 80s.
All helmets are made from carbon fiber with various other composites, nappa lamb skin interiors and come in black and white, each model in a limited 50-unit run. The Pavillon is €850 ($1100), the Belvedere €1000 ($1300), and the Castel €1250 ($1620).
