Limited Edition Nissan Juke Kuro Revealed, Proves Black Is a Fashion Statement

Opinion on the Nissan Juke are divided, as some see it as unique while other aren’t too fond of its looks. Why the Japanese have their own eclectic ideas of car design and they mix and match different lines, the little crossover is uncountably a funky vehicle.

There’s a new limited edition version of the Nissan crossover, and it’s all about one particular color. The ‘Kuro’ model gets its inspiration from the color of crows, panthers and... metal rock. Yes, black comes back in fashion and we hope it eventually replaces white as the ‘cool’ car to have your car in.

The Juke Kuro limited edition is based on the top-of-the-range Tekna grade, and features new ten-spoke, 17-inch alloy wheels finished in gloss black along with black door mirrors and handles.

The range-topping Tekna includes standard features like leather upholstery, Nissan Connect, a reversing camera and an Intelligent Key with engine start button, in addition to having ESP, six airbags, sports seats and air conditioning. The Acenta comes with 17-inch alloys, climate control, Bluetooth with USB connectivity and the Nissan Dynamic Control System, as entry level standard features.

Only 700 of these will be produced for the UK and the full range of engines is available, so the cheapest your model will be is the 1.6-litre petrol priced at £17,395. However, cool paint demands a cool engine, so we’d suggest you go for the 190 hp turbocharged DIG-T at £18,995.

Despite what you might think the Juke Kuro can also be specified in Force Red, a tone that contrasts nicely with all those dark features it’s got.
