You may have noticed that, over the last couple of years, automakers have shown their intention to grab a share of the vehicle customization pie. Thus, many of the features that came from aftermarket developers can now be ordered straight from the dealer. Well, the tuners weren’t just going to sit back and watch their business being absorbed, so they’ve come up with all sorts of wacky replies, such as the one above.
Forget the custom Nissan GT-R in the background, we’ve talked about this before. The focus here is on the little Ferrari 458 Spider. As you can see, this mimics the Nissan’s widebody scheme and it’s not a coincidence at all.

The Ferrari kids’ car was recently... played with by Japanese aftermarket developer Liberty Walk, the company that signed the GT-R’s widebody kit. This is, in fact, a scaled down replica of the package Liberty Walk makes for the actual Ferrari 458 Spider.

Come to think of it, the riveted-on parts, a trademark of the tuner’s work, seem pretty fit for the little car, since they play the desired role, drawing attention like a magnet. And since this is a car for the very young, pushing stuff to the limit, such as that extreme camber angle at the rear, is something easy to achieve.

Even the wheels were replicated, albeit without the concave profile, as well the “look at me!” tire sidewalls.

Oh look, the Liberty Walk Children’s Ferrari 458 Spider even has a bucket seat to keep the little one informed about the car’s intentions...
