Ever wondered how the front subframe and crash structure of a Ferrari 458 look like? There are more peaceful ways to find out, but, unfortunately, the Monterey Car Week has offered a violent path to such knowledge over the weekend.
To put things another way, an internet-famous custom Ferrari 458 crashed over the weekend. And, as you'll be able to see in the first clip below, the impact took quite a toll on the Prancing Horse.

The driver, who is the vlogger behind the Daily Driven Exotics tuning label, decided to cut his losses and turn the accident into a Youtube adventure - luckily, no major injuries resulted from the crash. And while he doesn't explain how the 458 has its face ripped off, he does state the accident was not his fault.

Then again, when you have your Lamborghini Huracan "backup" car with you, getting over such a crash is slightly easier. Abundance, be it vehicular of financial, isn't the only aspect to analyze, though. For instance, the guy has invested a lot of time into customizing his 458, which is how the supercar got its internet glory.

We're talking about a Maranello machine that mixes a Liberty Walk kit (notice the trademark add-on fenders), with an adjustable rear wing and doors mirrors coming from the Ferrari 458 GT3 racecar.

Factor in the psychedelic wrap that reminds us of the ones used to cover prototypes and the tons of tire-smoking action that can be found online and you'll understand why some Prancing Horses get more attention than others - nevertheless, if you happen to have missed the glory days of this (fortunately) mid-engined machine, be sure to check out the second clip below.

P.S.: Those seeking other hot episodes that took place during the 2016 Monterey Car Week can check out this traffic-stopping Ferrari Enzo douche or the majestic debut of the Lamborghini Centenario Roadster.
