Nope, Lexus still hasn’t said how much horsepower the new RC F makes, despite already being available for preorder in the UK. It’s said to be making over 450 hp and if you want to see what you’ll be putting your money on, the performance F coupe will be seen for the first time in the country at this year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed.
People gathering next week at the Goodwood Festival of Speed will have the chance to hear and feel the ground being shaken by the 2015 Lexus RC F. The car will be showcased around for most of the time, after which it will storm the hill as one of the festival entries. As a bonus, you’ll also get see the Lexus LFA screaming on the track.

The RC F is due to launch towards the end of this year, coming with the most powerful V8 engine Lexus ever made, despite its output secrecy for now. The coupe also distinguishes itself through extensive use of lightweight materials, put together using special manufacturing technology as well as “the world-first use of a torque vectoring differential in a front engine/rear-wheel drive configuration”.

Not to sure about that last part, since at least Ferrari’s E-Diff does pretty much the same on the F12 Berlinetta, but the RC F promises to be a real beast on the track. And that can also be seen in its aggressive styling, showing how much Lexus has changed since the era of the sleeper-looking IS F.
