Laverda by Custom Wolf Is Pure Roughness [Photo Gallery]

We were already expecting to see a top-notch bike, but the real deal was even better. Mixing together the sport heritage of Laverda bikes, parts from Benelli, MV Agusta and Ducati and the creative art of Custom Wolf is a sure recipe for two-wheeled miracles.
A laverda 1172 engine was cleaned, polished and then lacquered to preserve the shine, then loaded into a Rau frame especially built by Custom Wolf. A Ducati provided the rear shock, now linking a Wolf-trimmed Benelli TNT 1130 swingarm. The chassis also sports a Benelli triple tree clamping an MV Agusta F4 fork.
Ducati Paul Smart wheels are loaded with MV Agusta 4-pot calipers in the front and Benelli TNT brakes in the rear. As for the rest, the only things not made in-house by Custom Wolf are the Lafranconi exhaust and the Motogadget Classic gauge.
Air filter, seat pan and saddle, bodywork, headlight and all are Custom Wolf originals. We took turns in admiring this beauty and we now understand its name: LaveRAU. With “rau” standing for “rough“ in German... there could hardly be a better name out there for this build.
