Land Rover Discovery 4 and Airstream Trailer Tour Europe

We like driving adventures, regardless if we are speaking about private rallies that see powerful beasts travel across multiple countries, four-wheel-drive quests or even promotional trips, and thus are happy to bring you news about any of these. This piece of news is dedicated to the last type of events and brings a classy automotive couple to your attention: a Land Rover Discovery 4 and an Airstream travel trailer.

The Samuelson Wylie Associates Marketing and PR agency was asked to devise a program of promotional events across Europe for an US medical company, with the organization choosing the aforementioned vehicles as a mobile exhibition unit.

The journey had two legs, covering 6,200 miles (9,980 km) in 40 days and 5,000 miles (8,050 km) in another 19 days. The itinerary was comprised of 15 cities, including stages Vienna to Milan, Zurich to Barcelona, Madrid to Paris and Moscow to Kiev, with customer and media events being held in the Airstream and its awning during each stop. The interior of the airstream was modified by Samuelson Wylie to include a treatment room and luxurious meeting facilities, with over 300 VIPs being entertained as part of the program.

Due to the high profile of the client and the demands of the programme, we really couldn’t settle for anything less than the very best. We’ve been fortunate enough to work with Airstream for three years now and have undertaken a lot of press and marketing work for them with Land Rover so we knew how stunning they would look together and how faultlessly they would perform,” said Martin Cranshaw, who heads up Samuelson Wylie’s Events Division.
