Lancia has announced the pricing for the Delta Hardblack special edition, with the model now being available for order across Europe.

The bespoke edition comes dressed in a black matte paint and features black & chrome mirror caps, twin chromed exhaust and 18 inch alloy rims, which can optionally be ordered in the “Hard Black” color. The interior of the vehicle comes with a Starlite black leather/Alcantara finish. The car offers advanced features such as an auto adaptive suspension system, dual zone automatic climate control and the Blue & Me system.

The Delta Hard Black edition lets customers choose between two strong engines: a 1.8 liter petrol unit that uses direct injection and turbocharging to deliver 200 hp and 320 Nm of torque and a twin-turbo 1.9 liter diesel powerplant, which offers 190 hp and 400 Nm of torque.

The first engine is matted to a six speed sportronic automatic gearbox, allowing the Delta to reach 100 km/h (62 mph) in 7.4 seconds and offering the car a top speed of 230 km/h (143 mph), while emitting 185 grams of CO2 per km and returning a fuel consumption figure of 7.8 liters/100 km (30 mpg).

The 1.9 liter diesel unit helps the Delta leave the 100 km/h (62mph) mark behind in 7.9 seconds and reach a top speed of 222 km/h (138 mph), while returning a fuel consumption of of 5.7 liters/100 km (41.2 mpg).

The Lancia Delta Hardback's price starts at EUR 31,300, regardless of the engine the car is equipped with.

Lancia has prepared a strong marketing offensive for the vehicle , which will include the car’s participation in the Mandela Day (a celebration for the South African leader) that will be held on May 15 at Monte Carlo and a special web campaign
