Lamborghini SUV Sketch Released

Earlier today, we reported that the Raging Bull is flexing its muscles to create a successor for the LM-002 SUV, an unusual creation that landed on planet Earth back in the 80s.

We’re pretty sure that the Lambo SUV will be one hell of a performer. After all the Volkswagen Group must be the perfect company for the release of such a vehicle, as all the parts and components are already there.

Now, all the engineers have to do is find a good formula to mix them. This will guarantee that the vehicle won’t be an embarrassment on the road and will also offer decent off-road performance. This is all that the Italian automaker needs.

As we said, Lambo isn’t a virgin from the SUV point of view, so we can’t complain the carmaker’s image will be stained by this new development. The Italians just have to make sure the vehicle offers the aforementioned assets and the market’s thirst for SUVs will do the work for them.

The LM00X (this is the unofficial name of the vehicle) has quite a big burdain on its fenders. This is because the car could be for Lamborghini what the Cayenne was for sister-company Porsche. We’ll remind you that, while the SUV may have ruined the Zuffenhausen-based carmaker’s purity, it is the model that we all have to give credit for rescuing Porsche from financial danger.

However, even though the tech side seems to be covered, there’s one key area where we can’t tell if Lambo has hit the jackpot until the car is actually released: the design.

This is why we are presenting you a proposal that floats our boat. The vehicle you see in here has been created by David Cardoso. The Belgian designer is offering us a rear-engined four-seater that uses the “Conquisto” name and has plenty of attractive styling cues (for a SUV).
