Lamborghini Reventon for Sale, Seven of Them
The 1 million dollar supercar, a restyled Murcielago, boasts 650 horsepower and can reach 211 miles (339 km/hour) per hour. The unique styling of the car, inspired by a F22 fighter jet, together with the 6.5l V12 engine helps it reach 100 miles per hour in just 3.4 seconds. But do the owners really give a damn?
The last of the 20 units was sold in November last year to an English national from Birmingham who at the time chose to remain unknown. The owner said then he bought the car to drive it, not keep it into the garage.
This is not what the guys selling the Reventons on the website did. If you are curios enough to check it out, you will see that out of the seven, the one which has the biggest mileage is being sold from Houston, Texas, with only... 88 kilometers (54 miles) on board.
Only one other Reventon owner from the seven had the guts to post the vehicles mileage. The guy, or company, or whatever, bought the car, payed in excess of $1,000,000 for it, put it into the garage, got a bunch of friends together, drove around for 10 km (6 miles) to show the thing off, put it back into the garage, left it there for a few months, the crisis came, he ran out of money, ergo... for sale. Fun, ain't it?
Since besides these two real car lovers none of the others posted the mileage on their Reventons, it is safe to assume that the figure is zero. We will not get into the reasons that drive these idiots to buy an extremely expensive, powerful car and not have the slightest amount of decency in them to drive it until the wheels come off, because our editor-in-chief might have a stroke while checking this.
The upside of the deal is that whoever will buy one, will become the owner of an year-old-brand-new-car. We only hope that if you had the brains to earn the money that will allow you to pay at least 1,148,000 pounds for one, you will have the balls to drive it and not keep it in the garage. It is a Lamborghini, for crying out loud, not a Picasso.
Take a look at Ramzan Kadyrov, Chechen president, for instance. He is brave enough to drive the Reventon on some of the poorest streets in the world. Sure, he is backed up by the all mighty Mother Russia, but still...
