Right now, you might be wondering what the heck an "overly happy ending" is. Well, if we told you, we'd ruin the fun of the video below. And since we're talking about a drag racing clip that's just a little over one minute long, that would be a pity.
We're dealing with a battle between a Lamborghini Huracan and a Dodge Viper SRT here, as the two supercars engage in a half-mile shenanigan. This is the kind of race that involves a standing start, with a girl playing the Christmas Tree role.

And while the Sant'Agata Bolognese machine should have a clear advantage at the start, the driver of the Lambo didn't have the sharpest reaction, which allowed the Viper guy to grab the start.

The Dodge is used as the camera car once the two leave the starting line and we have to warn you - the combined soundtrack of the two V10s is nothing short of intoxicating.

Keep in mind that we're talking about an all-motor battle here - since naturally aspirated supercars are on their way to becoming an extinct species, this is no small feat.

We have to admit this race intrigued us and that's because we've always said a Gen V Viper can be more fun to drive than a Huracan, thanks to the thoroughbred feeling the slab of America delivers. Keep in mind that we're talking about pre-2016 models here, since Lamborghini addressed the understeer tendencies of the V10 beast starting with this model year. And yes, we are aware of the fact that the Raging Bull is about 2.5 times more expensive than the Dodge.

Returning to the battle shown in the clip below, we have to remind you to pay attention to the trap speed of the vehicles, as this is the factor that matters here.
