When you're out on the track in your Lamborghini Huracan, playing with a Dodge Challenger Hellcat, the last thing you want to experience is a brake failure.
Nevertheless, the owner of the V10 Raging Bull in the video below claims his Huracan has been affected by such an issue. The piece of footage shows the 602 hp (make that 610 PS, you metric system fans) Lambo running with a factory-blown Challenger and trying to slow down in time for the bend at the end of the course.
While the Huracan driver did go for a terrifyingly late braking point, we can use the deceleration of the Mopar machine, which was right behind the supercar, as a reference point. Thus, the Lamborghini's braking issue becomes even more obvious. We'll remind you the Huracan comes with standard carbon-ceramic deceleration hardware.
Fortunately for this driver, the concrete barrier awaiting him had a missing section, with this having probably been removed for emergency situations such as the one seen here.
As a result, the Huracan went for a grass-eating session. However, you don't need to be an accident specialist to realise the consequences a potential impact with a concrete block would've had - this one looks like a potential air time "stunt". And once the owner managed to bring the car to a safe speed, albeit still in the green section of the track, he decided to put on a little sliding show.
While this is obviously a questionable episode, here's what TheStraightPipes, the uploaded of the Youtube video, explained, when asked to clarify the matter: "Owner said he had a message in the dash about a brake failure,"
Regardless, this scary Huracan moment only comes to show why go-fast shenanigans should are reserved for the track. We don't even want to imagine what could've happened if such a moment happened in traffic.
