Just when you thought you've seen them all, you browse youtube and come a across a video that shows a Lambo with rims that glow in the dark... We know that the Gallardo is the best sold Lambo model, but this unit will certainly stand out in the crowd.
The footage, recorded by Youtube user cvdzijden, brings us a Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera (yes, we know, a lot of double letters), that comes with a set of rims which uses special LED circles mounted just outside the exterior of the brake rotors. These can't be seen when you take a look at the supercar from an usual perspective, but they do manage to light the entire rim.
We have to admit that this wasn't a simple task - they whole feature has to be protected from the enormous amount of heat generated by the brakes, but still can't make up our mind: overkill or not?
