Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4 Police Car Goes Racing

If a regular Gallardo goes racing, that’s not really news-worthy unless it’s got twin-turbos, but if it’s an LP560-4 and it’s got Italian police livery, that’s a different story. Marchettino caught this very interesting footage of the V10 street racing deterrent doing so racing of its own.
The supercar was donated in 2008 and offers up a whopping 560 horsepower from its V10 engine. It also does 203 mph, so there isn’t much chance of outrunning it.

Besides the custom paint job and the sirens, the Lamborghini received a hoard of other improvements. It has a license-reading system, real-time transmission of images back to a control room, GPS, in addition to the already classic gadgets that a police car comes equipped with.
