Lamborghini Aventador Strips to Get Tuned, Exposed Engine Bay Is Tech Eye Candy

The supercar world is boiling nowadays: from special editions and tuning packages, to live spotting, the social media part of the speed realm is now moving just as fast as the machines that make up this world. Case in point with the Lamborgini Aventador in the image gallery below.

Sure, an Aventador is an incredibly intimidating machine, whether we're talking about its appearance, its driving experience or its soundtrack. But, with the tons of custom Aventadors, as well as the Superveloces out there, many owners find the tuning temptation hard to resist.

In the case of this Raging Bull's driver, it all ended up with a trip to California-based aftermarket developer GMG Racing, which gifted the V12 beast with a custom exhaust.

While the headers seemed to have been left in place, the rest of the system was upgraded - the job required the Aventador to go for a bit of a tech striptease. And once the rear fascia of the Italian beast was removed, the exposed engine compartment rivals the custom exhaust when it comes to grabbing our attention.

After all, we are talking about an engine bay accommodating the first all-new V12 after the original vee-twelve used in the Miura. As strange as it might sound, every V12 Lambo up to and including the Murcielago came with a heart that can be described as an evolution of the 1960s supercar's powerplant.

While we're talking about Lambo evolution, we'll remind you Sant'Agata Bolognese specialists are out there, testing the Aventador facelift (here's a spy video showing the velocity behemoth).

Returning to the aftermarket goodie we're here to discuss, the image gallery below also includes the standard exhaust of the Aventador, if we may call it so, which means you can easily compare the appearance of the two systems.
