The 2011 Geneva Auto Show will kick off today, promising to bring to the attention of the automotive fans enough models to keep them busy for months to come. Among the most exciting models to be presented at the event, the Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 is a wonder in itself. Unveiled, slowly, throughout the past few months, the model has been completely unwrapped today by the super car manufacturer, showing the entire glamor of its Arancio Argos-painted body. Under the familiar-looking, yet new interpretation of the Lambo style, the producer hid a 6.5l V12 engine capable of developing 700 horsepower and 690 Nm of torque. With it works a Graziano ISR 7-speed automatic transmission, which allows for all those horses to be gradually released. The performance figures of the model are right up super car alley, with the naught to sixty acceleration rated at less the time it takes you to spell the model's name: 2.9 seconds. The top speed stands at 217 mph (350 Km/h). Today, the prices for the model have also been revealed. The super car will be selling, depending on the place you live in, for the following small fortunes: GBP201.900, EUR255.000, US379.700, 6.270.000 RMB and 39.690.000 yen. But, we reckon, you knew that already, since most of the details have been released some good months ago. By now, you have a pretty good idea of how the model looks like too, but we do recommend you take a look at the gallery below.
