The Russian budget car producer Lada has recently released a new model, the Granta, which has replaced the Samara, a vehicle that had been on the marker since 1997.
We shall start with the price of the new Lada, so that we don’t have to explain certain features that the car lacks: if you live in Russia, this sedan can be your for the equivalent of $7,500 or EUR. For this kind of money you get.. nothing worth mentioning.
However, for an extra $,1000/ EUR, you can have the superior trim level, which brings power steering and windows, as well as a sound system. In case you were wondering, the list of options has its good and its bad side, such as a GPS and ESP, respectively.
Under the hood, we have a 1.6-liter engine with two valves per cylinder and 64 hp, but the company will introduce a 1.4-liter unit with four valves per cylinder. To promote the car, Lada will create a racing version for the World Touring Car Championship, a development we’re really looking forward to.
