Ever wanted to have a celebrity-owned car? No, not Elvis' BMW because that would cost a fortune. But you could have Kylie Jenner's Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG, complete with the black velvet wrap she did last year.
Unless we're mistaken, this is... was Kylie's second G-Wagon. The youngest of the group had a regular model when got her license and then upgraded to the G63. Why? Because it's the Kardashian way to have the best, blingiest and most expensive.
We're not sure what young Miss Jenner will be driving now that her Mercedes is gone, but she might have upgraded to the G65. There aren't any other celebrity must-have SUVs out there except the Range Rover, which Kylie also owns.
So, ignoring the dubious taste of having your boxy SUV covered in velvet, $145,000 is not a bad price for G63 AMG with 5000 miles on the clock. But I guess that's what happens when your off-roader only ever get driven to the gym.
And if you think about it, velvet isn't that disgusting. Sure, it attracts a lot of dust, but I have a custom leather box for the watch I bought, and the inside is covered in velvet too. If I put a couple of headlights on that, it will look like a G-Wagon.
It's worth pointing out that the velvet wrap idea was borrowed from her sister Khloe Kardashian (owns a Range Rover). Both of them had their wraps done at West Coast Customs, which is the place to go when you want something tasteless and over-the-top.
We wouldn't be doing our job if we pretended that the G-Wagon had "one careful owner." After all, Kylie only got her permit a few years ago and chipped the rear wheel.
