KTM X-Bow Expands in England
KTM now has 6 retailers in the UK. You can find X-Bows at Carlin Motorsport, Chessington (London and south-east England), Racing Line, Milton Keynes (Midlands), ABG Motorsport, Runcorn (north-west England and north Wales), Hangar 111, Ipswich (East Anglia), Drivestyle Horseless Carriages, Harrogate (Yorkshire, Humberside and Teeside) and now Dick Lovett in Swindon.
The aforementioned KTM representatives are in charge of retail sales for the X-Bow cars, as well as for KTM's PowerWear and PowerParts ranges. Aftersale services, as well as repairs are also being taken care of by the dealers.
The X-Bow is the first automobile produced by KTM, the successful Austrian motorcycle manufacturer. This model debuted in March 2007 at the Geneva Auto Show as a prototype but the official product was put on the production line in June 2008. KTM sold 350 X-Bows by the end of the year and is expecting to sell approximately 600 units in 2009.
KTM celebrated the first anniversary of its X-Bow range at the 2009 Geneva Auto Show with the unveiling of five different models: X-BOW Street, X-BOW Clubsport, X-BOW GT4, X-BOW Superlight and X-BOW ROC.
The 2.0l four-valve engine delivers 310 Nm of torque between 2,000 and 5,500 rpm, achieving the peak output levels of 240 horsepower at 5,500 rpm. And it is street legal, too...
