KTM Motorsports is happy to announce details about the 2017 KTM RC Cup Racebike that is now available for purchase for those participating in the KTM RC Cup that is held in conjunction with the 2017 MotoAmerica Racing Series.
The new motorcycle is designed as a competition bike, which is not street legal and has been designed by KTM with over 40 PowerParts and other enhancements to increase its performance on track.

This includes fully adjustable WP racing fork, fully adjustable WP racing rear shock with high/low-speed compression and rebound damping, Akrapovic exhaust, racing body panels, RC8 R-style throttle assembly, CNC-machined racing foldable levers and CNC-machined racing rear sets.

To maintain competitive parity, the engine is sealed and may only be serviced by KTM's trackside partner HMC Racing. Modified street-legal KTM RC 390 motorcycles can not qualify for the MotoAmerica KTM RC Cup Series but will be allowed in a separate regional race.

KTM's partnership with HMC Racing will also add some benefits to all riders during the race weekend, providing services like a KMT HMC semi-truck to provide a relaxing hospitality area for participants, technicians that will provide assistance and parts for purchase if needed as well as safety checks on motorcycles before any race.

New participants who purchase a KTM RC Cup Racebike until March 31, 2017, will also receive some special benefits like Motion Pro products offered at 50% less than the retail price, a Motorex sponsorship pack including $500 in products and a discount on all their offerings, as well as a semi-customizable, made to measure racing suit from GiMOTO that is handmade in Italy at a discount price.

The KTM RC Cup Series is addressing riders between 14 and 22-years-old holding an AMA Superstock Limited license. All riders must be on KTM RC Cup bikes which are available for purchase starting. For requests, visit a participating KTM dealership and provide it a copy of your AMA Road Racing Superstock Limited license or license application.
