Usually, when an automaker introduces a new heavy weight supercar, this comes after 1001 teasers, but Koenigsegg’s latest creation, the Agera S, has arrived in a much quieter fashion.
The model is slotted in between the normal Agera (if we can call it that) and the Agera R. The vehicle had actually been launched during a private event that took place last year, but now Koenigsegg is offering us the full specs.

Like the two aforementioned models, the Agera S comes with a removable roof, so the driver and his passenger can also enjoy the open-air experience. However, the Agera S is destined for markets that don’t offer E85.

Thus, it can only run on pump gasoline, which means that instead of the Agera R’s 1,140 hp it offers 1,016 hp, while the torque sits at 811 lb-ft (1,100 Nm). Like its sisters, it is motivated by a 5.0-liter twin-turbo V8, which sends its power to the rear wheels via a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission.

The 3,120 lbs (1,415 kg) machine deals with the 0 to 62 mph sprint in 2.9 seconds, while its top speed sits North of 250 mph (402.5 km/h).

The Agera S, which comes in either left- or right-hand drive form, is still offered for sale and most of the orders received so far have come from Asia.
