A few days ago, Christian von Koenigsegg set its hypercar-producing company loose once again, offering us a teaser for an upcoming creation. Now the Swede is back in the headlines and it’s time to talk about his personal car, something besides the Koenigseggs he obviously drives.
We’re talking about a Tesla Model S, a vehicle he’s been driving since October 2013, having been among Tesla’s first customers. Christian von Koenigsegg spoke about Tesla during a recent Electric Car Conference in Helsingborg.

The man has a clear view, as he said the Tesla Model S (presumably the P85 model) is one of the best sports sedans out there, beating the BMW M5 at the acceleration, handling and driving fun games.

Koenigsegg sees the future as belonging to the electric car, which is probably why the company tried to team-up with a startup company a few years ago, aiming to introduce an electric sports sedan. Subsequently, the Swedish carmaker wanted to buy Saab in order to give the world EVs.

Despite this, Christian still sees a future for the internal combustion engine, but, of course, only for the aficionados.
