Kia Teases New B-Segment Concept for Frankfurt
Two photos have been released, showing maybe a new design direction for the company and not much else. Details about the car have predictably not been released because Kia wants to get us all excited. But they have said it's a B-segment car and it looks like some sort of coupe, probably one with a crazy door arrangement.
"Although there are no current plans for production the vehicle’s unveiling in Frankfurt will be used to gauge potential customer response for future showroom models," Kia says, indicating this is by no means a production intent concept.
Kia has maybe fallen in love with making concept cars. Just this year alone, they've shown two other B-segment concepts. There was the Kia CUB Concept shown at the 2013 Seoul International Motor Show in Korea, which was a 2+2 hatch with suicide rear doors. And after that there was the Provo Concept shown in Geneva, which was a hybrid coupe with LED headlights that made waves. That car had similar conjoined bucket seats to the ones you will see on this new concept bound for Frankfurt.
