A Kia Soul is the car you buy because nobody else does, so it defines what it means to be a hipster. You know, the guy who is always rooting for the underdog, who has a beard as long as his face, even though he can't change his own car oil or cut a tree for that matter.
But why would you want to get your hands dirty with oil or cut a tree? That stuff is bad for the environment anyway. Kia's hamsters started out as oversized cool pets, but they've gradually changed and adapted to suit the needs of the automaker. After mastering dance moves like Gangnam Style and Party Rock Anthem, they are up to no good in the music business.

The latest CGI commercial is called Share Some Soul, or should we say #ShareSomeSoul. It feels a little bit like that time your dad tried to be cool in front of some hot girls, and that's because the music being featured is for old timers.

At the start of the ad, Kia's hamsters show up at the park to play the famous Dueling Banjos song. After that, a bunch of other musicians join in, ranging from medieval Korean festival drums to a DJ. Brightly colored Soul crossovers arrive as well, maybe as a way to highlight that the car is available in purple or green now. We'd just buy a Hellcat for that!

“Music is the one true universal language. It transcends borders and boundaries, connecting people on an emotional level because it’s something we can all understand, feel and appreciate,” said Colin Jeffery, chief creative officer, David&Goliath. “In this case, the hamsters use the power of music to unite people from around the world.”

Kia has prepared a behind the scenes video for you to check out. If all this has made you want to buy a Soul, know that the 2016 model starts at under $18,000 and comes with a 1.6-liter all-aluminum engine that makes 130 horsepower (at 6,300 rpm) and 118 lb-ft of torque (at 4,850 rpm). Plus and Exclaim models enjoy the more powerful 2.0-liter NU power plant with direct injection and a rating of 164 horsepower at 6,200 rpm and 151 lb-ft of torque at a 4,000 rpm.
