Kia has announced today that the new Cerato will arrive on the domestic Korean market by the end of the year under the name “K3”. The car is already a global success story for the automaker, so it will still be known as the Forte or Cerato depending on the market.
With 445,000 delivered last year, this car is very important for Kia, and this shows in the way they designed
the new one. Even though it’s supposed to be their budget sedan, the styling revealed by these rendered images is very modern and elegant.

“After going on sale in Korea, the all-new Cerato sedan will appear at Kia dealerships in many overseas markets during the first quarter of 2013, to be followed by five-door hatchback and two-door coupe variants,” Kia says.

If we’ve managed to peak your attention, the good news is that we’ve also got spy photos recently taken as the car was testing. You’ll be able to find out more about the interior and the cool front end styling at the following link.
