South Korean automaker Kia has finally confirmed that its brand new K900 flagship sedan will be introduced at the 2013 Los Angeles Auto Show next month.
Kia declined to go into specifics, but said the upcoming rear-wheel drive sedan “will take value to new levels of sophistication” and will go on sale next year with either a V6 or V8 engine under the hood. The latter likely to be the same 5.0-liter V8 mill found in the 2014 Hyundai Equus.
Along with the short announcement, Kia also released the first photo with the K900, confirming the US-spec vehicle will be similar in design with the global Quoris. As we’ve previously reported, the K900 is expected to cost somewhere between $50,000 to $70,000.
But until the LA Auto Show begins and we can get back on the K900 with more info, Kia will showcase five “very special” Soul crossovers at the 2013 SEMA Show next week.
