It’s kind of funny seeing sexy model Kelly Brook posing next to India’s recently put to sleep icon, the Hindustan Ambassador. This is not a tiny city car, but it looks this way compared to the new Mercedes-Benz G-Class she just bought. The British TV presenter had some friends along and took a picture to post on Instagram so we thought it would be nice sharing it with you guys.
The crazy-hot brunette recently released her fourth flagrance so she thought it might be nice to also buy a new car along. As a matter a fact, that is the exact way Brook told her Instagram followers about the deal, posing next to a black G-Wagon.
You see, thinking about that and looking at this picture makes us smile. Of course, that doesn’t mean we disrespect the Hindustan. Not at all. Come to think about it, the Indians did quite a good job with this car, even though they recently decided to put an end to its production.
Basically the Indian version for Britain’s Morris Oxford, the Ambassador lasted for almost six decades until Hindustan Motors decided to end its career citing plummeting sales. Back in 1957, the Ambassador was actually the only passenger car produced in India and over the years it slowly became a cult for Indian buyers. Hindustan Motors’ Ambassador even was the choice of state authorities for many decades.
In its most popular posture, the Ambassador came out white, with red flashing beacons adorning its bonnet. Nowadays you can see quite a lot of them working as taxis, so don’t forget that on your next trip to India.
