Kawasaki has delivered yet another video of its upcoming Ninja H2 forced induction motorcycle, and we can vouch that this new teaser will cause even more stir in the business. It shows the exhaust headers of the Ninja H2 starting to glow red as the bike’s engine in revved up really high, close to its physical limit, seemingly.
If the sound of high-revving engines is music to your ears, then the soundtrack of this video should be acoustic heaven for you. Frankly, this doesn’t sound like a street bike, but has all the character of a killer track-ready machine. As for the noise regulation for making this bike street-legal, I am really skeptical that riders will be legally allowed to roll down the street at the helm of such a monstrous contraption.

Now, for some more rumor mill action, voices from a country far away have whispered in my ear that Kawasaki is indeed planning to release at least two supercharged bikes. One is a street-legal version, said to be based on a liter-class in-live four, even though some claim that the street bike will be a 636-derived machine.

Kawasaki is believed to prepare a track-only supercharged model whose maximum power figure is rumored to tap into the 300 horsepower range. These are only rumors arriving from people who don’t want to be identified, but who apparently are somewhat close to the house of Akashi, and must be treated as such until official info surfaces.

The engine in this video is said to rev around the 14,000 rpm mark, but it will be interested to see how does the actual engine perform. With the current Yamaha YZF-R6 capable of reaching north of 16,000 revs, it’s obviously town to the brute power and handling of the upcoming Ninja H2 bike(s) to steal the show. More info is expected in a couple of days. Enjoy the sound of turbo madness!
