Kawasaki will line up David Salom and a team which also works with the WSBK champion Tom Sykes and his colleague Loris Baz. All three will take part in the Jerez tests to be held February 5th, 6th, 17th and 18th.

EVO Class entries have to comply with the Superbike regulations in terms of chassis, brakes and suspension (with a price cap), but with only three engines allocated each season, just like the Superstock class.

Salom also has MotoGP experience after riding a Kawasaki-powered CRT (now Open Class) motorcycle in the 2012 season.

The main goal of the 2014 EVO entry is to learn more about the bike and possible ways to develop it, though a battle in the front of the class is predicted, too.
