Karl-Friedrich Stracke Appointed CEO of Opel/Vauxhall

Strake, who will be nominated as Chairman of the Management Board of Adam Opel AG, will report to Reilly in his capacity as CEO of Opel/Vauxhall. The president & CEO GM Asset Management and currently Supervisory Board Chairman, Walter Borst, will continue as a normal member of the Supervisory Board.

Reilly will not only serve on the Opel Supervisory Board, but will also oversee Chevrolet and Cadillac in Europe.

Strake’s current engineering role will be taken by John Calabrese, executive director Global Vehicle Engineering, who joined GM in 1981.
