We were telling you some one month ago that Chrysler is working on a a limited edition Call of Duty-themed Jeep Wrangler. Today, the American automaker has finally launched the special edition model, which will be available at dealerships starting November, 2010. While it sports various visual modifications, the model has suffered no changes in terms of powertrain.

Dubbed Jeep Wrangler Call of Duty Black Ops, the model comes based on the Rubicon equipment grade, and features Mineral Gray dark alloy wheels wrapped in 32-inch off-road tires.

The vehicle’s exterior color is black and features Call of Duty: Black Ops graphics on the roof and front quarter panels. The vehicle also features Mopar taillamp guards and fuel filler lid, live axles with front and rear locking differentials, as well as a two-speed transfer case.

The Jeep Wrangler Call of Duty Black Ops comes priced from $30,625 for the two-door model and $33,500 for the four-door (Jeep Wrangler Unlimited) model. Both prices include $750 destination.

Call of Duty: Black Ops will also be released worldwide on November 9 for the Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, PlayStation3 computer entertainment system, Nintendo Wii and Windows PC. The Jeep will make various hero-car appearances throughout the first-person shooter game.

It was important for us to make sure that the Jeep partnership would be authentic and enhance the setting we immerse our fans in with Black Ops,” said Mark Lamia, Studio Head of game developer Treyarch. “Our work with the Jeep team focused around using the Jeep Wrangler in our levels, and gameplay experiences, and translating the style and look of the vehicle in Black Ops to the Jeep on the showroom floor that our fans can own.”
