The Fiat 500X may be the hottest B-segment SUV at the moment, but platform brother Jeep Renegade is a little tougher and buffer than its Italian sibling. It’s been a long wait, but the Chrysler Group brand has recently confirmed that first Euro-spec Renegades will arrive in dealerships by mid-February, 2015.
Of course, Jeep has developed the Renegade for those countries that still drive on the left-hand side of the road, namely the UK, Australia and so forth. What about pricing of the thing? Although we don’t recommend to go for the entry-level model, the E-Torq 1.6 110 hp Sport 4x2 is €18,507 (£16,995).

If you don’t want to spend a helluva lot of money on the range-topping model and specification, we recommend the 2015 Jeep Renegade 2.0 MultiJet 140 hp Longitude 4x4, which combines a potent yet frugal engine, a six-speed manual and with AWD for €25,435 in Europe (pricing may vary depending on the country) or £22,795 over in Great Britain.

Of course, those of you that want such a model, but with a little bit of specialness to it, can settle for the 2.0 MJet 140 hp 4x4 in Opening Edition guise, which is offered for at least €29,806 or £25,695. The Opening Edition is, as expected, extremely limited in numbers, but it adds some really neat aesthetics.

These are a choice between two special hues (Alpine White or Omaha Orange), a black painted roof, unique interior bits and bobs and 18-inch alloy wheels. We should highlight something for those guys and gals that want to take the 2015 Jeep Renegade off-road. For the most capability off the beaten track, go for the 2.0 MultiJet 170 hp AWD Auto Low Trailhawk variant, which costs €30,690 or £27,995.
