The paint hasn't dried yet on the SEAT Exeo and aftermarket companies have already started rolling out new packages for this sedan. JE-Design is one of the first tuning houses that aim to make the overall appearance of the car a bit sportier and the kit they've just launched pretty much does it.
According to Carscoop, the new kit brings a new series of aesthetic improvements, including a new sport radiator grille, a front spoiler, side skirts plus a diffuser panel mounted in the rear apron.
Quad tailpipes and multispoke light alloy wheels available in two dimensions (7.5×18'' with 225/40 R18 tires or 8×19'' with 235/35 R19 tires) are also included in the package.
There's now word on the pricing for the aftermarket package but expect to pay around $1,000, taking into account the number of sport parts included in the kit.
The standard SEAT Exeo is being offered in two engine configurations, a 2.0 TDI unit delivering 170 horsepower and a 2.0 TSI configuration with 200 horsepower. While the TDI version pushes the car from 0 to 100 km/h in 8.4 seconds - with maximum speed of 142.2 mph (229 km/h) - the TSI option reduces the 0-100 time to 7.3 seconds. Thanks to this high-performance engine, the car is capable of reaching a maximum speed of 149.7 mph (241 km/h).
Fuel consumption is far from being interesting since we're talking about aftermarket cars, but in case you're curious, the standard SEAT Exeo achieves a fuel efficiency rating of 30.5 mpg (7.7 l/100km) for the TSI version and 40.5 mpg (5.8 L/100Km) for the TDI flavor in combined conditions.
