Jay Leno Drives High Mileage Lamborghini 400GT 2+2 [Video]
The 350GT was the first production vehicle made by Lamborghini, starting in 1964. Until 1966, they made just over 100 of them before it evolved into the 400GT, which go a bigger 3929cc V12 engine with 320 hp.
In 1966, the 400GT 2+2 came out onto the market, offering two small seats in the back and a new gearbox which Lamborghini built with a Porsche-inspired synchromesh that made shifts a whole lot easier.
A total of 247 units of the 400GT 2+2 were built from 1966 to 1968. This beautiful red example is owned by an ex US navy man, who’s put a whopping 250,000 miles on it.
The owner uses it every day, so he’s fitted it with a modern sound system and a modern ignition system. The engine has been rebuilt a number, all done by him, which show just how dedicated this man is.
Jay really know how to appreciate such a beauty, both in the garage and on the road.
