If you live in Japan and you’re in the market for a small but sporty coupe, then look no further than the JDM Toyota GT 86 Yellow Limited edition. That’s a mouthful, alright, but it’s not in vain because tis limited-run GT 86 receives the full-on sporty treatment and extremely special Sunrise Yellow paint.
The fun-to-drive affordable sports car just got better, but we shouldn’t thank just the eye candy offered by the sleek paint job. To be produced in undisclosed but limited numbers and a delivery date slated for November, the Japan-only Toyota GT 86 Yellow Limited will receive not one but two packages.

The first is called GT Yellow Limited Aero Package, and it doesn’t feature that massive Celica-style rear spoiler. The gateway package makes do with a fully blacked-out cabin sans infotainment system, yellow contrasting stitching, 18-inch BBS forged aluminum wheels wearing a set of sticky Bridgestone Potenza S001 rubber, and better brake pads.

By choosing the Toyota GT 86 in GT Yellow Limited Aero Package FT form, the Japanese manufacturer adds some goodies. The highlights include that fantastic-looking rear spoiler, better shock absorbers, the black-painted front lip/splitter, and side skirts. Pricing? 3,167,200 yen. That’s only $25,655 at today’s rates.

Too bad the infotainment system is missing and it’s fair to say we won’t get it in the United States. On the powertrain front, the JDM Toyota GT 86 Yellow Limited edition makes do with the same 200 PS (197 HP) 2-liter boxer, mated to a six-speed manual transmission with bolt action rifle precision.
