In late November last year we got wind that Aleix Espargaro made a decisive step and put together a CEV team, but a Moto3 squad was also rumored to be next, just like Valentino Rossi’s SKY VR46. Halfway through the 2014 season, the rumors turn out to be true, as the elder of the Espargaro brothers has confirmed the fact that he will head his new Boe41 Moto3 team.
Espargaro’s Moto3 team will line up two pilots for the upcoming season, but so far only one name has been revealed. FIM CEV Repsol International rider Gabriel Rodrigo, 17, is the firm confirmed rider who will wear the Boe41 livery next year, with the second rider yet to be announced later on.

Gabriel Rodrigo has already gotten the taste of GP riding, as he took part in three Grand Prix rounds this year, Jerez, Barcelona and Sachsenring. He also sits 5th in the CEV Repsol International championship. It looks like Aleix Espargaro will be using KTM machinery for debuting his team in the Moto3 series.

Espargaro, a two-time CRT (now Open class) world champion is currently the best-positioned Open rider, and with 77 points, he sits 6th in the MotoGP world standing. The NGM Forward Yamaha rider has a 10 points lead on his brother Pol, who rides a Tech3 Yamaha bike, and is 20 points adrift Jorge Lorenzo.

After Cal Cructhlow, Andrea Dovizioso and Andrea Iannone have recently extended their relationship with Ducati, Aleix Espargaro is said to be the next guy to which Davide Brivio will turn to for becoming the second Suzuki factory rider for the 2015 comeback, the other rumored to be Maverick Vinales.
