Isuzu has a new D-Max trim level for the UK market, called Fury, but as much as we wanted it to bring a taste of the latest Mad Max movies, it doesn't.
Of course, we loved the latest Mad Max installment but we're here to talk about the D-Max Fury, so let's cut to the chase.

Changes affect the car's exterior and interior, so we'll take it one step at a time. On the outside, the D-Max Fury comes with a unique Magma Red metallic paint finish and 17-inch, five-spoke grey alloy wheels wearing 255/65 R17 Pirelli Scorpion tires. But there's more.

Exterior upgrades continue with a dark grey metallic finish to the front grille – complete with a fiery red Isuzu logo at its centre – and Cosmic black door and tailgate handles. Black is the name of the game for the rear bumper as well while the pickup truck's heavy-duty side steps earn a gun metal grey hue.

The interior does nothing more than continue what the exterior started in terms of appearance. D-Max Fury comes with red stitching on the steering wheel and gear knob as well as Fury carpet mats.

Also, customers can upgrade the interior upholstery to Limited Edition Black and Red Fury leather, but if that's what you want, do move fast, because only 100 such packs will be available.

No technical changes have been operated on the D-Max Fury, which means the pickup truck will draw its strength from the same 2.5-litre twin-turbo diesel engine producing 163 horsepower and 400 Nm (295 lb-ft) of torque.

Officials also think the new trim will be a hit when it goes on sale in September, for £19,999 ($31,107 at current exchange rates).

"The Fury has been designed for those seeking an affordable pickup with stand-out appeal. It’s certainly a head-turner and, alongside the Blade and rest of the D-Max range, will meet the growing demand for a stylish vehicle which can be used for both work and recreation,” said William Brown, General Manager at Isuzu UK.
