With a growing car-loving community in Israel, local enthusiasts decided to make their own version of the famous Gumball 3000 rally - the Israball.
We don’t know how they managed to travel 3000 miles in a country that spans just 250 miles from north to south, but they had a pretty decent collection of supercars to roam around. Among the 70-car convoy there were a Mercedes SLS, Porsche 911 GT3, Ferrari 458 Italia, Nissan GT-R and tip-top condition 1983 Lamborghini Countach.
It’s nice to see that this phenomenon is spreading, but somehow it’s lacking the original Gumball’s atitude, with its crazy parties, flashy rides and all the celebrities.
Speaking of that, we remind you that this year, the original Gumball 3000 celebrates its 15th anniversary on a route that starts on May 18th in Copenhagen and goes all the way to Monaco. Celebrities like Tony Hawk, David Hasselhoff, Xzibit and Kimi Raikkonen are expected to attend the rally as they have done it before.
