Insurance Fraud Couple Got Jailed

The fraudulent pair made a £920,000 profit over a seven-year period, posing as the drivers and lying to underwriters about their details and records to secure cheaper policies.
Money was spent on their children education in one of Britain’s most prestigious schools, holidays in exotic locations and a house in Westgate-on-Sea in Kent.
Elina and Gagik were charged with insurance and benefit fraud and convicted after a trial at Maidstone Crown Court. They asked to be spared the jail sentence as they would miss the children, but the judge said they have done it to their selves and fully deserves it, as they had enough time to think about consequences in the seven-year period.
