Infiniti's A-Class Based Compact Delayed to 2015

But the car that was originally expected in 2014 will actually enter production in 2015. The original plan was for it to be based on a study scheduled to arrive in 2013. Let’s hope they realized the Etherea concept was really ugly!
"Infiniti ended the feasibility study this week and has decided to produce the vehicle in-house in a European production facility as part of the brand's overall expansion production plans. All design, engineering and development work continues on schedule," the automaker said in a statement.
Infiniti said they would build it at a yet unknown European plant. Nissan is also working on a new hatchback model which is hoped will rival the Golf, but the two cars might not share underpinnings, so they shouldn’t be built on the same assembly line.
