Indonesian Studio Motor Insanely Cool Honda Shadow 1100

With most motorcycles in South-Eastern Asia being small-to middle displacement ones, stumbling upon a custom 1993 Honda Shadow 1100 was quite a stir. It's only after we got to the root of this when we smiled the broad smile which still lasts as we look again and again on this incredibly awesome piece of bike customization.

It's really not that often when we run into such elegant designs; and seeing this bike coming from Indonesia is even more heartening. The original 1993 motorcycle was stripped of almost all the bodywork as the owner who brought it in the Studio Motor workshop was already getting bored with its old air and wanted to ride a new-character machine.

Custom wheels have been installed, 19” front and 18” for the back and the motorcycle also received new ends: a short and aggressive cafe-racer rear cowl and an ageless, retro bikini cowl for the front. Everything then got a top-drawer premium paintjob with batik motifs and vintage yellow racing accents for a stupendous look.

Adding in the wrapped exhaust lines and drag-style handlebar and there you have it, the 1993 Honda Shadow 1100 with a new, infinitely more evil character. Hats off!
