It’s a well known fact that BMW doesn’t offer a lot of green paint colors for its cars. They are mostly interested in shades of blue, white and black and variations in between. However, you can get almost any hue you want through the Individual program.
That’s the one that basically let’s you choose your color, no matter what the online configurator says. Basically, you can go in there with a color you created in the comfort of your studio and they’d put it on your car. For a special price, of course.
At the same time, the Individual range also offers some pre-established choices. You can get Pyrite Brown these days or Tanzanite Blue, colors that seem to change hues depending on the lighting. One such option is Java Green.
We’ve seen it before on other cars like an M6 Gran Coupe that was just put up for show in Abu Dhabi but now we’re looking at an E92 M3 that was done in this color and it’s simply stunning.
You see, Individual cars are as rare as they come both because of the restrictive pricing, but also because of the prolonged period of time it takes to make them. Furthermore, this car is also fitted with the Performance Package that’s also pretty rare on E92 M3s.
What that means is that it has a couple of enhancements that make it a better track-focused tool. The suspension is lowered, the differential improved to allow for greater skid angles and the wheels are unique to this model as well.
Apart from those interesting facts, the car also is apparently one of only 11 made between 2008 and 2013 and sent to America in this color (that includes all cars, not just the M3s).
As far as optionals go, it has the DCT transmission, Premium Package, Novillo Leather, Carbon Leather interior trim, a navigation system and a carbon fiber roof. Yeah, it was expensive.

The best thing about this car is that it’s up for grabs on eBay. The seller wants $68,978 for it but the bidding rose to just over $39,000 at the time of writing.
