Hyundai, together with its sister company Kia, are aiming high, taking on the big names in the automotive industry and, of course, you can’t do this without a rock solid product release plan.
Fortunately, we can now get behind the scenes and see what Hyundai is planning on the short term. To be more precise, we’re inviting you to take a look at the South Korean carmaker’s model release schedule, up to 2015.

It all starts with a reworked version of the ix35 compact crossover, which is expected to arrive by the end of the current year. This will stay on the market until 2015, when the automaker will introduce a new generation of the ix35. The Sonata will also receive amakeover this year, with a new generation set to arrive in 2014.

Hyundai also wants to be active in the low-cost B-segment, where the company will launch a small car destined for emergine markers - something like the Getz - . This is expected to use the i15 desigantion and will also serve as a starting point for a crossover.

Hyundai is also expected to give us the production versions of the Curb concept (a rival for the Nissan Juke) and the i-mode HED-5 (this should spawn the ix30 compact MPV).

In 2014, Hyundai should release an all-new i10 and the company could also give us a new i20. In addition to that, the carmaker is working on a four-door coupe, which could be linked to Kia’s K9 Concept. The list is topped by an all-new H1 minibus (this will use the Grand Starex name in certain markets), which should land in 2015.
