Huge Honda CBR250R Indian Recall Is 75% Complete
Last year Honda issued a massive recall for more than 11,500 quarter-liter bikes manufactured in the Indian plant between March 2011 and September 2012. The reported problem was related to the braking system of the standard version of the Honda CBR250R.
At that time, Honda officials declared that there were "possibilities of limited ineffectiveness in front brake application, though this concern does not impact the overall braking functionality and effectiveness of front and rear brakes under normal riding conditions.” To us here, any issue witht he brakes seem very important, since braking is one of the key safety components when it comes to using the roads, 2, 3, 4 wheels or more.
The repairs are free of cost, irrespective of warranty.
