Servicing a hybrid like the 2007 Toyota Prius is the same as with a normal petrol car, you still have to replace oil and filters and you'll still have to reset the maintenance light after.
And that futuristic-looking dashboard of the Prius shouldn't be a problem, as the maintenance light resetting still uses only two buttons. Here is how to do it:
- Push the Start button twice without pressing the brake pedal to turn on the accessories of the car
- Use the trip button on the central console (just under the display) to put the odometer in ODO mode and not TRIP
- Press the start button again to turn the car off
- Press and hold the trip button and push the start button again
- Keep pushing the trip button until the odometer will display some zeros
- You are done.
