After you’re done changing the oil and filters, you’ll have to reset the maintenance light so it will warn you in time when the next maintenance arrives.
So after you’ve cleaned the workplace and put back all the tools, wash your hands and get behind the wheel. To reset the maintenance light, turn the ignition off and press the odometer button on the dashboard. Keep it pressed and switch the ignition on. Wait until the small lines on the odometer disappear and then release the odometer button.
Now you’re done and you can go drink a beer or cut some wood - like real men that drive FJ Cruisers do.
