If you've just completed a DIY maintenance on your 2006 Toyota Tundra, you have to reset the maintenance required light on the dashboard so it will show up in time for the next oil/filters change.
Resetting the maintenance light on the Tundra is as easy as it gets, no tools required at all, just two free hands and the vehicle's key. Here's how to do it:
- Put the ignition switch on and make sure the odometer is set to ODO not TRIP
- Turn off the ignition
- Push and hold the trip button and turn the ignition on again
- Keep pushing it until the small lines on the odometer disappear one by one and lots of zeros appear after
- Done. You have reset the maintenance light.
