The internet is a wonderful place. Get a couple of really passionate people together and you’re in for a real treat, like the following story that simply blew my mind.
As a guy that is currently looking to buy a BMW E46 3 Series Coupe, I often have to sigh when I see a model fitted with a cassette player. For those of you that don’t know what that is, I should say it’s the grandpa of modern DVD-units.

The harsh reality is that bone-stock models were fitted with such devices up until 2003 and today they seem way older than they really are. Technically, most of them are impeccable.

That’s the exact thing a redditer found out about his car. Sick of having to compromise all the time, he decided to install a 7” Nexus 7 table inside his car and incorporate it into the dash. At first, I was reluctant to check out what he did but I was terribly wrong.

I saw some crazy designs around the internet before but this one is actually good looking. The best thing about it is that you can later on upgrade, using a newer tablet just by replacing the old one and the brackets, in case it has a different size. This, right here, is pure genius! Congratulations are in order!

PS: I’m going to do this to my car, as soon as I buy it and post a complete DIY here to help you guys out.
