Most vehicles are sold today with tire repairing kits to save weight and cut the costs a bit, but others come with the classic spare tire, which can be located in the trunk, underneath it or even on the tail gate on some SUVs.
The Lexus RX 350 comes with a full size spare tire that is stored underneath the trunk, so that you won’t make a mess inside the vehicle when storing the dirty busted one in until the first service station.

To access the spare wheel you will need a special tool to unscrew a big bolt in the boot and lower the wheel. Here's how you do it:
  • Park the vehicle in a safe spot and ensure its position with the handbrake
  • Open the trunk lid and remove the fake floor to gain access to the tools storage compartments beneath
  • From there take out the jack, the big metal lever and the big metal socket
  • Close the tools compartment and open the one shown in the video bellow
  • Place the socket on the bolt inside and using the lever unscrew it until you can reach the spare wheel underneath. Watch your legs
  • On the spare wheel, rotate the hub cap clockwise to remove it
  • Now pull down the rectangle holder and angle it so it can feet through the center wheel hub
  • Take out the spare wheel, replace the flat one and put it in the spare’s place
  • Wrap everything up and don’t forget to repair the flat tire as soon as possible.
